Single & Virgin in 20s ?

Hello there, This post is pretty much self realization because of loneliness I feel everyday away from home. At times I wish like everyone out there, it would feel great having someone to come home to, now the real question is: at what cost ? Our society evolved so quickly that there was not much time to really think through, so we were fed the idea of glamour, sex-appeal and a lot of perversion [thanks to movies for guided neuroplasticity]. It can't be denied most people keep the perversion to themselves because they are educated and know it is wrong to let it loose; some however can't do it; anyways that would be different thing to discuss altogether. It has become a trend that someone having multiple intimate partners is deemed to be cool and respected. Ironically, for men the term is stud, for women it would be slut. Everyone wants to just score every now and then; people seek opportunities, some exploit the goldfish-theory. Goldfish theory is: say in a fish-tank, ...

Is PPF Too Good To Be True ?

Image
Hi Folks, Every time I talk to my brother we get into high-frequency conversations and talk about a lot of stuffs including money. Biologically I'm elder but if put in simple terms; I'm the muscles and he's be the brains. Our duo has been very remarkable from the very beginning. Pranjal is an inventor naturally; since he was in 3rd grade, he made astonishing discoveries & invented countably many tools which came handy in day to day life and became popular in our vicinity and school. He used to invent things (the prototypes) and I used to come up with the modifications (commercialization). Even today I do not take a single step without discussing with him and taking his consent. An elder brother couldn't be more proud to have such a prodigious younger brother. Getting back to the topic for today; I wish to understand deeply as to why Pranjal thinks PPF is a big bubble that government is pulling in front of our eyes . Pranjal's decision making includes intr...

Subtle Art of Responding

Image
Hi there, Over the years I've had profound interest in human psyche & psychology which also led me to read journals and books related to the subject; albeit, I couldn't effectively practice all my learning for a longer period of time. Certain events in time where I was way wrong in interpreting actions discouraged me to such an extent I gave up on my learning. Now when I look back, I realized my learning wasn't all crap; I just failed to include all the necessary parameters to interpret a message successfully.  My interpretations back then included a few parameters which threw off my interpretation off course. Well, past is past; since I started working in corporate, some of my learnings gradually came back to me so I'll focus today on only one aspect of human psyche & psychology. Responding to people is an art There is always a way of saying things. Same message can be conveyed in a harsh, sober and manipulative manner.  In corporate some of the hig...

My Feelings These Days

Hey, Today I thought of writing down how I've been feeling recently and it is sort of depressing. You may quit reading if you aren't into these kind of stuff today usually I refrain myself from depressing stuff so I understand if you skip this post To give a quick background, I never knew what life is and where it is taking me. Everything to me was a spontaneous surprise and maybe I got lucky all the times to get through with it. When in school my definition of success was being able to do anything and everything which I followed and have it in me; but once school was over I realized I was wrong it was the academics which should have gotten more importance within my to-do list and since I failed to realize it, I had to admit myself in a C-grade college after having failed in getting recommended in NDA Batch : N-NDA-68081 24SSB Perhaps I was lucky that the C-grade college I thought to be of C-grade was a C in everything else but academics; we had world class faculties...

Concept of Religion

Hi Folks, There are times when all I do is think and research; like past few weekends I got to meet wonderful people and gathered a lot of knowledge.  Today I'll be talking about how religion started in the very beginning and what it is today. When the first men walked on earth, there was only one religion. History knows it as 'Sanatana Dharma'. Don't be mistaken, the definition has changed over the period of time. I'll present logical evidences and then leave it up to you readers to think and ponder on it. The first men worshipped the elemental gods. 1. The Sun 2. Water 3. Air 4. Earth 5. Food And as you may have guessed there is no explanation needed as to why people worshipped the elemental gods. Later in the course of time, someone would get an idea that the world is so big that means there must be someone who manages.  There must be a god of creation, destruction and the one who nurtures; and that is how 3 new gods came to existence.  Things...

Inner Peace

Better said than done! Well most of you would have got similar thoughts after reading the title, well I did and which is why I can shout about it :P You are said to have attained inner peace when no external stimulus can affect your state of mind It is important to note that inner peace doesn't means lack of ability to show emotions More or less we often misunderstand inner peace. Most people relate inner peace as invulnerability to negative emotions. This is so wrong! which is why this post will help you understand what inner peace truly is and how can you move towards attaining it. Hi Folks, Do you recall our friends Fear , Anger , Joy , Disgust and Sadness ? As we have talked in an earlier post ' Inside Out ', how these guys define us and also we arrived at a common consensus that we should guide our little friends for harmony. In this post, we'll talk about how you should guide our little friends so that you move towards attaining inner peace. Thi...

Inside Out

Hi Folks, Today we'll be talking about our core emotions. In the process we will try to understand and befriend them. We will also learn that all emotions are to be cherished in order to be truly strong. Let me introduce you guys to our core friends who are there with us through thick and thin.  You commonly know them as Fear, Anger, Joy, Disgust and Sadness . Little do we realize how much these guys go though to keep our shell powered up!  Still most of the times we end up cursing them for absolutely no reason at all (except lucky Joy :P). Funny thing is these guys follow orders from ' The Big Boss ' whom they never saw, they are just instructed to follow certain protocols and what's funnier is ' The Big Boss ' is none other than you. I know you don't realize it yet, that is why I am here. Why fear when Pranav is here :P This hierarchy is bit complicated as it is more than just physical allocation. Like light has dual nature so do we. We hav...

Hope for the Best! and Prepare for the Worst!

Hi Folks, In this post I'll be keeping it short and simple; title says it all. Not only for major decisions in life, if you make it a habit of hoping for the best and preparing for the worst; believe me when i say this There is no force in the world that can disrupt your inner peace Technically speaking, when we write server-side code; before getting into what is to be done we do what unexpected can come! For example; if I have to create an API which calculates factorial (yeah! I get it why would you create an API to calculate a factorial; just keep your noisy brain stick to this concept, factorial is just an example :P ), before I write calculation logic for factorial I'll think of these scenarios! 1. What if null or empty data is passed!! 2. What if instead of number someone passes aplhanumeric data!! So you see; it may seem like nothing and probably overboard initially but like in software designing, the amount of time you spend in development is barely 10% of softw...

Key to Successful Professional Life

Often we wonder about a good pay believing a good pay yields a good life.  If put bluntly, we desperately long for a better pay. While it is no wonder that money can solve a lot of problems in day-to-day live, there are still many things that calls for background check. For instance, if you give a beggar a grand, he'll most likely end up being a beggar after few months, point here is he/she doesn't has the mind-set. Most common mistake we all do when we start our career is we embed this information deep in our brain that your brain starts working for money. Probably you all must have heard it from people around you; and probably rejected the idea (What chances do I have with the same thought! - I wonder). Funny thing is, believe it or not at some point of time you'll realize. It is better to live a life of ' Oh! Well... ' than ' What If!! '. Do what you love to do; do it with passion; and the money will follow Pretty simple; yet the...

The Value of Time

Image
This is not new when someone says value time, time is money blah blah... Funny thing is unless you realize it on your own that you need to move, there is no force in the world that can move you. Today I'll share concept of prioritizing things. Let us accept the fact that no one is busy, we just have priorities which we follow. The real question is are we prioritizing things correctly, or is it our mind who is directing our lives from behind the curtain. Let us construct a truth-table of 2 variables first. See some examples for these which will help you relate to your activities: [U] & [I]    - Urgent & Important  • Monthly Rent/Bills • Money & Time budgeting • Meals (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner) ![U] & [I]  - Not Urgent But Important • Physical exercise • Career introspection • Daily book reading • Knowledge expansion (learning something new which aids productivity) [U] & ![I]  - Urgent But Not Important...

Dog behind its tail for '100 coin' Happiness

Before I tell you that, I'd like to express thanks to Shubham & Pranjal ; my two kandhas because it is their content and I am only a medium to share this knowledge. In Shubham's words: Once, a king and his adviser were travelling in remote areas of his reign. There was a small house, family of four; husband-wife-son-daughter. The king observed everyone was so happy and cheerful, they cherished the moment. King was amused so he decided to camp nearby to observe this family. Everyday he would see both husband and wife working together, they wouldn't do much but whatever they did it clearly reflected how much they are loving their moment with each other.  This went on for some days, finally king got curious and wanted to know what is the secret behind all this happiness. Clearly this family was very poor they can barely afford food & shelter yet they all rejoiced every moement. He asked his adviser,  'Tell me what could be the reason behind this happines...
